The liver holds far more than physical waste. It stores layers of old adrenaline, heavy metals, viral debris, and emotional residue from years of strain. When these build up, the body compensates in ways that eventually show up as neurological symptoms, mood instability, or conditions often labelled as MS, ADHD, Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s.
This protocol creates the conditions for the liver to finally release those deep burdens. It provides steady clean glucose, keeps fat intake low enough for repair, reduces digestive strain, and supplies targeted support to move metals, calm viruses, and clear stored adrenaline.
The daily structure is designed for deep, long-term liver rebuilding — typically over three to four years. It works by giving the liver predictable rhythm, consistent fuel, and the space it needs to push out what has accumulated. Over time the deeper pockets begin to clear, emotions settle, and the nervous system finds a new baseline of stability.
- Steady caloric intake that supports healing without overwhelm
- Clean carbohydrates as the main fuel from fruits, vegetables, berries and oats
- High natural fiber for stable blood sugar and healthy elimination
- Adequate protein from oatmeal, mung beans, peas, potatoes and vegetables
- Naturally low fat — exactly what the liver needs during deep repair
Consistency is the most important factor. To reach the deepest layers, it is recommended to follow this structure for a minimum of three years, ideally followed by a year of careful integration.
Fats such as avocado can usually be reintroduced in small evening amounts once you have been stable on full therapeutic doses of lysine, spirulina, barley and dulse for several months — typically after the 24-month mark.
The protocol is inspired by Medical Medium teachings. While I find a few of his points unnecessary, the core approach has proven remarkably effective. I still recommend reading his books yourself and taking what resonates.
A note on ingredientsNo added fats, salt or strong spices. Even small amounts can stimulate the liver when it needs rest. Only gentle herbs are used: parsley for minerals, thyme for calm and hydration, coriander to support detox. Stronger spices like garlic and chili are best avoided in the early stages and reintroduced later when the liver is more stable.
Supplements do not need to be timed this exactly. The schedule is simply designed to show the most balanced distribution across the day.

Micronutrients✅
Potassium: ~10 g—excellent for adrenal function, nerve signaling, and liver detox (baseline ~3.5 g).
✅
Magnesium: ~644 mg food + 189 mg supplement = ~833 mg—comfortably above baseline (~300–400 mg).
✅
Calcium: ~821 mg food + 30 mg supplement = ~851 mg—within baseline (~800-1,000 mg). Well absorbed through low-fat, mineral-rich meals, and sufficient when combined with high magnesium, potassium, and vitamin C.
✅
Iron: ~18 mg—strong intake from peas, oats and potatoes (within baseline: ~8–18 mg).
✅
Zinc: ~11 mg food + 7.5 mg supplement = ~18.5 mg—moderately above baseline (~8–11 mg), supportive for antiviral activity.
✅
Vitamin C: ~400 mg food + 500 mg Micro-C = ~900 mg—far beyond the ~75–90 mg baseline, strongly antiviral and detox supportive.
✅
B1: ~60.4 mg—therapeutic.
✅
B2: ~11.2 mg—therapeutic.
✅
B3: ~53 mg—therapeutic.
✅
B6: ~22 mg—therapeutic.
✅
Folate: ~489 µg food + 500 µg supplement = ~989 µg—comfortably above the ~400 µg baseline.
✅
B12: 1.750-3,000 µg—far above baseline need of ~2.4 µg. This is a high therapeutic dose that is intentional and central in Medical Medium-informed protocols for nervous system repair and viral support.
✅
Collagen: Potatoes, bananas, spinach, and blueberries—alongside spirulina, barley grass juice powder, lysine, and vitamin C—supply the full spectrum of cofactors needed for collagen synthesis: lysine, silica, vitamin C, folate, and trace minerals. Together, they create a naturally collagen-supportive environment, eliminating the need for isolated collagen supplements.
✅
Iodine: ~250–300 µg—through spirulina and dulse. Delivers gentle, bioavailable support for thyroid function, nerve repair, and detox metabolism without overstimulation.
✅
Selenium: ~11 µg food + 59 µg supplement = ~70 µg—within 55 µg baseline.
✅
Silica: ~32 mg—supports tissue repair, nerve sheaths, and mineral absorption. No official baseline, but comfortably within the therapeutic range (30–50 mg) good for connective tissue rebuilding and viral detox support.
✅
Vitamin A (beta-carotene): ~16,000–17,000 µg RAE—primarily from carrots, spinach, zucchini, and blueberries. Easily converted when liver function is supported. Far exceeds baseline needs, promoting immune strength, skin regeneration, and mucosal repair during detox.
